Eat the Ball® is an innovative Austrian company based in Salzburg. Following their first product developments, Michael Hobel and his partners decided to launch Eat the Ball®, the world’s first branded bread, in 2012.
In 2018/2019, after years of development and a construction period of over two years, the company launched its own production line. Since then, the Salzburg-based business has been working continuously to expand its international distribution. The unique Eat the Ball products are based on the globally patented pro.ferment.iced® technology. The new Eat the Korn® product range was launched in January 2020. The appealing Briochy® products were added to the range shortly after.
